Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /backup/qa/www/sub/rss/product.php on line 32

The video capture worked horribly at first -- was dropping 100's of frames. I almost gave up. But, I searched the forums and found someone having the same problem that I was. I tried the suggestions and they worked! I captured almost 2 hours of video without a single dropped frame.

The date/time stamp on the video is excellent, but what I really wish is that there was another option that it would retain the date/time stamp as subtitles that could be turned on or off at will instead.

The interface could be improved to explain what some of the settings are. I'm a total video amateur and had no idea which settings to choose. There are a lot to pick from and NO help in making those decisions. That is why all the frames were dropped. What I'd love is a feature that says use the defaults best for your situation and then have the program analyze my situation and make the decisions for me.

I'm using this program to capture home video and make DVD movies. The date/time stamp is the ONLY reason I chose to use it. And for that, it worked well.
